We are in our own place again and it feel marvelous!!!  Two years ago when we sold our home of twelve years, we somewhat reluctantly took a detour to my mom's house.  She needed someone to take care of it while she went on a mission to Bolivia.  We were the obvious choice, since we were selling anyway.  We grew to love our ward and neighbors there, but we were definitely ready to be in our own place again.
We moved to Rigby!  We now have an acre lot for our boys to run wild on!  It is also connected to a cul-de-sac.  We love it!  The kids just all gather there and play for hours!  I can see them from the window and know they are safe!  We have great families around us, with great kids.  As it's getting warmer, our boys have loved being able to hop on their dirt bikes and ride around our yard. This is a video of Talmage learning how to ride the 110.

We love the house!  I wouldn't have done anything different if we had built ourselves!  The perk to finding one we already loved is that the yard is already in!  Yay!  The garage is big enough to double as a shop for Oliver.  We have already made lots of great memories working on projects together.  Oliver and I have been working to finish the basement.  He and the boys have spent several hours fixing up dirt bikes.
We are also super excited because some of our good friends from our last neighborhood are buying the house next door to us!  We seriously feel so very blessed!  This would not be complete though if I didn't share a picture of one of my favorite things about our new home...the sunsets here are amazing!

As anyone who follows our blog knows, I'm not much of a blogger.  When I say "not much" that's a gross understatement. It is obvious, if you note that all of the previous blog posts have been submitted by Oliver. The most recent even then was several years ago.  I've had complaints that I'm not much of a Facebook poster, making it hard for friends and family to know what is going on with us. Maybe blogs are more up my alley since they don't go to so many people.  The people that really want to know what's going on with us can check it out, but it's not being thrown out there for the rest of the world.  Yep, I'm kind of a private person. So here is my first attempt!

Lately, as we've needed relax time as a family, we've been watching "The Flash".  We laugh about the characters and discuss what we think is going to happen in the next episode.  We're really more binge watchers.  We watch a ridiculous amount of episodes Friday nights when we should be going to bed.  We've missed several neighbor drop offs, because our house is dark, and it looks like no one is home.  Really, we are just hiding out in the basement being lazy.  Sometimes that's both needed and nice though!

Since this has been our family togetherness/lazy time lately, I decided to change up one of our Christmas traditions. Every Christmas eve our tradition has been to open one gift, which everyone knows is pajamas.  Just about every year, everyone complains that they don't like or even wear pajamas!  So, this year I decided to get everyone a flash t-shirt.  There weren't any t-shirts in Talmage's size, and he liked the flash pajamas so he was the one exception this year.

The kids think it is funny every time that we all match, because they think David Lopez's comments on couples matching is hysterical! Actually, it's one of my favorite YouTube clips as well.  Check it out for a good laugh!

The Brothers' Flowers Updated

Well this one is a little better timed. Adobe can be such a pain in the butt.
I uploaded in the same format that it is displayed to everyone else and they still re-encoded it.
Anyways, enjoy. I think I am going to do some more with this Flash stuff later.
